Do you fix / service / support Apple Macs?

Yes, we do fix, support and service Apple Mac computers, in fact this is the biggest part of our business. We use Mac’s ourselves in our business, and have a lot of experience in diagnosis and repair of iMac’s, Macbook’s and Mac Mini’s.

What does ‘onsite’ mean?

Onsite basically means we come to you. You don’t need to pack up your computer and take it to a shop just to get something working again. Very often it’s just not practical to take apart your home or small business office computer setup and take it into a store. Also, some problems have nothing to do with the hardware (physical) components of the computer and so a shop isn’t going to be able to give you the attention you require. That’s why we offer an onsite service – we come to you at a time that suits you, solve your problems on the spot, or take your computer away and drop it back when its fixed.

Where is your shop? Where are you located?

We operate onsite, meaning we come to you. When we’re not on the road, servicing clients, we operate out of a home based office, based in Canberra. To organise an appointment, please call 0468 333 996.

How long will it take to complete?

Where possible, we’ll solve your issue onsite. If this isn’t practical (for example, it would take over 2 hours), we’ll take your computer away, and return it back to you when it’s ready. If we need to do this, our average turn around is 3 working days.

How much do you charge?

For our onsite service, the first hour (minimum) is $120. This includes callout to your home or business,  up to 15 minutes of travel one way. After this, we charge $20  for each additional 15 minutes.  To get the best idea of what your cost will be, or roughly how long your appointment will take, please call us on 0468 333 996.

For offsite repairs, data recovery, and other services that require more then two hours to fix, we offer a flat rate to keep costs down. These flat rates very depending on what you want done, and the parts required, so you’re best calling us on 0468 333 996 for an estimate.

How can i pay?

We accept payments via Visa and Mastercard, and Bank Deposit. We also accept cash but don’t always carry the correct change. Payment is due at the end of appointment, or when we drop your computer back to you.

Do you offer a guarantee?

We guarantee all our onsite work for 14 days, and all offsite repairs for 90 days. If the exact same issue repeats itself after our visit, we’ll fix it no charge, provided that it wasn’t caused by user error. Bare in mind this is very rare (1%) , and most of the time, it’s caused by a completely different problem. Also, we cannot guarantee you against any virus or malware re-infections.

Yes, we are registered with ASIC, and trade under the name DIGITAL SAGE COMPUTER HELP. Our ABN is : 36 521 152 507

Do you charge for pickup and delivery of my computer system?

Our pickup and delivery service is flat rate, and includes pickup and delivery of your computer as a part of the price.

Why are you cheaper then other companies?

We don’t run a shop, have employee’s or large overheads, so we keep our costs low. These savings are passed onto you.

Do you offer ongoing support?

Yes. We offer remote desktop support, where we can access your computer remotely, and fix problems without having to come onsite. This works out cheaper for you, with remote desktop support pricing starting at $60 for 30 minutes, and then $20 per 15 minutes there after.

Please note we cannot offer ‘free’ telephone or remote support, as we need to dedicate our time to paying customers who are naturally our main priority.
